Clearing out a load of old files from the computer, I stumbled across this.
It somehow makes more interesting reading now than it did at the time, a bit like reading a love letter from someone who ended up braining you with a rolling pin a few months later.

If nothing else it should serve as a salutary reminder that the welter of “What Does 2009 Have In Store For Us?” features that are about to force everything else out of the headlines really aren’t worth the paper they are written on.
